A lot of the guests we have on Hardcore MBA have been entrepreneurs for many years now, and have had the time to build established, successful businesses. They have a lot to teach us about how to create a freedom lifestyle, but it can sometimes seem a long way away if you’re just starting out.
Today’s guests, Øyvind Dahl, is a little different. He’s at the beginning of an entrepreneurial journey, but he isn’t afraid to use what he has to live the life he wants – and he’s proving that you can start enjoying yourself before you make your first million.
In this week’s podcast, Øyvind and I discuss:
- The courage and risk-taking spirit it takes to move to a different country on a minimal income.
- The importance of finding an information marketing niche that will bring in customers and followers.
- And how Øyvind got started through a viral video, and the kind of content that can do the same for you.
When I asked him what he will be up to next, it became clear that Øyvind is taking steps towards becoming a full time entrepreneur. “I’ve been automating a number of systems in my business recently, so I’m going to take some time off over Christmas to see if those systems can now work without me. I’m hoping to launch another three products next year. And I may be going exploring again – I’m drawn towards spending some time in Colombia, but I have no firm plans yet. I’ve learned to follow my intuition and go with the pull of what I feel.”
Øyvind clearly has a great future ahead of him, and I hope that some of you can take inspiration from him and walk in the same footsteps. To find out more about what Øyvind does and how he promotes his content, check out his website about electronic circuits. Until next time, keep dreaming big!
Wow great job getting Dan to do an interview with you! He is the mentor to Dan Lok, an entrepreneur from Vancouver whom I have come to know quite well. Dan (Lok) talks about the impact Dan Pena had on his life all the time. Now I know why!
You mentioned Napoleon Hill and Outwitting book, you wanted to continue but you were interrupted by Dan, what did you want to say?
